So far nobody isn't affecting other people in the story. The story is only talking about what's happening and nothing much is going on other than progressing through the story.

The genre of this book is thriller/ horror.
The reason why I chose this book was because the cover of the book caught my eyes and the description of the book. It also made me want to read this book was because I like horror stuff and it's just my type of book. I like how horror books take dark turns which is another reason why I like these types of books.
